The painting of the lady I assume was painted by an amateur. However, the larger item is a black and white print set on a cardboard backing and the background appears to be gold-leafed. Don't know why that was done. I don't think it was originally gold-leafed. The frame has worm holes and the print has a soft sheen fabric border similar to linen and the inside border is gold-toned metal. The frame is roughly about 5.5 feet high by 3.6 feet wide. I never measured it. No identifying tags or stamps. Backing is slightly buckled, frame has minor scrapes at top, and a small bit of print sheared off at bottom.
Would love to know who is depicted in the picture, if there are duplicates around (want to see an original print without the gold-leaf), what type of medium it is (the clothing and body are a multiple black and white lines that create the image. Is this portrait from the 1950s or older?
Thank you in advance for your help!
