FIVE TINY, RED MARKS, BOTTOM LEFT KNEE 05-15-2012

This morning at 5:15 a.m., I prepared to do my ritual of applying fade cream to my skin and there were 5 tiny red, scrape marks at the center bottom of my left knee. They weren't bleeding but appeared to be healing--no scabs and no stinging or burning (later) in the shower. Were not there yesterday at bedtime!

As of 7:45 PM, the marks are still red as the pics below show. The marks hurt only slightly if touched.

I have been experiencing pain in that knee from having knelt on the wood floor a week before (knees and elbows on wood are a no-no, silly me). The marks are not located over the central area of pain (which is more to the right).

GOLD-LEAFED PRINT AND A PAINTING: CAN YOU IDENTIFY THEM?

The painting of the lady I assume was painted by an amateur. However, the larger item is a black and white print set on a cardboard backing and the background appears to be gold-leafed. Don't know why that was done. I don't think it was originally gold-leafed. The frame has worm holes and the print has a soft sheen fabric border similar to linen and the inside border is gold-toned metal. The frame is roughly about 5.5 feet high by 3.6 feet wide. I never measured it. No identifying tags or stamps. Backing is slightly buckled, frame has minor scrapes at top, and a small bit of print sheared off at bottom.

Would love to know who is depicted in the picture, if there are duplicates around (want to see an original print without the gold-leaf), what type of medium it is (the clothing and body are a multiple black and white lines that create the image. Is this portrait from the 1950s or older?

Thank you in advance for your help!

DID I SEE A SPACE SHUTTLE RIDING PIGGY-BACK?

Today I was in Elizabeth, NJ and saw a plane cross the sky towards Newark Airport, I think. It was pretty close, so I'm 100% certain it was an airplane. Sounded like one, too. It was quite a unique sight!

However, I've never seen this type of craft before: It looked like an ordinary plane but with a smaller object on top (mid back to tail end or just off to the right side of the carrier). I could not determine if the piggy-backer was a small plane or a rocket.

I've been checking out Google Images for 'piggy-backed planes' and so far the only pictures similar to what I saw are for the Space Shuttle riding piggy-back on a specially made B747. Maybe that's what I saw. Mystery solved? If so, what's a space shuttle doing in the skies of New Jersey?

Turns out the space shuttle is exactly what I saw today:

SPACE SHUTTLE ENTERPRISE WOWS NEW YORKERS ON FINAL FLIGHT

EXCERPT: This morning I joined a large and enthusiastic crowd on the High Line, an elevated park on Manhattan's West Side, to welcome the Space Shuttle Enterprise to its new home in New York City.

We were among numerous groups who had gathered around the city and along the New Jersey and Westchester Country waterfronts to witness this spectacle. We watched as Enterprise was flown atop a NASA jet up the Hudson River at an altitude of only about 1,500 feet, and a half hour later returned, flying down the river—a heartwarming sight on an otherwise raw and windy day.

The Shuttle left Washington, D.C. about an hour earlier. It had passed the Statue of Liberty and then flew past the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, where it will be housed, in its trek along the Hudson before making a loop across through New Jersey and Queens and across Manhattan en route to a perfect landing in Kennedy airport at 11:23 a.m. . . . .

Now the mystery really is solved. . . .

TINY MARKS ON LEFT SIDE OF CHEST -- 03-06-2012

Monday, March 6, 2012
Discovered at 8 AM

Found a horizontal row of tiny marks centered on left side of chest. They are already healing and some of the scabs (if they existed) have fallen off. Did not notice anything yesterday and there was no burning sensation during showertime to indicate the presence of fresh marks.

Went to bed after 2 AM and slept well enough. I wonder if the marks are connected to yesterday's strange dream In A Dark Place.
